Information about the preschool

We are a registered charity, run by a parent-based committee and welcome the support of parents. We are registered with Ofsted. (View recent report). The pre-school employs seven members of staff all holding appropriate early years qualifications.

Opening Times

The Pre-School operates from a purpose built building in the grounds of Isleham Primary School.


We are open Monday - Friday 8.30 - 3.30 (7 hours) term time only.


8.30 – Transitional time for parents to chat before the session begins in earnest.

8.40 – Session begins

12.00 noon Morning session ends – Afternoon sessions with lunch begin

12.00 – 12.30pm Lunch time – Afternoon sessions without lunch begin at 12.30pm

Collection of Children should run between 3.15 and 3.20pm with the remaining

10 minutes set aside for parents to talk.


Daily parent time surgeries run at 8.30-8.40am and 3.15/20 – 3.30pm


Stay and play – These days will alternate each half term.  Parents and Carers can do as the title suggests for however long they want to stay.

When can my child start?

Your child is able to attend Isleham Pre-School from the age of 2 years 9 months, depending on availability of places.

All children are eligible for Early Years Funding the term after they are 3 years old.

Safeguarding Children

All staff are trained to recognising signs of child abuse and are committed to respond promptly and appropriately to all incidents or concerns of abuse and will work with statutory agencies in accordance with the procedures that are set out in our child protection policy.

Parking

Please do not park on the grounds of Isleham Primary School or in front of the emergency exit gates or on the chevrons/yellow lines directly outside the school.
