Ethos
We believe that all children and families are unique to the setting and as such we welcome and value them as part of a diverse pre-school community. Being part of a community is at the heart of our pre-school, and we encourage children and families to interact with their local community and beyond.
We provide a happy, caring and stimulating learning environment where children feel safe and can learn and develop their skills to become life-long learners.
We strive to support children in their Independence, confidence and curiosity within the setting, supporting them to do things for themselves and establish a positive attitude towards their learning, through using their own intrinsic motivation. Creativity is encouraged throughout the day, giving the children opportunities to be imaginative, musical and artistic.
Children are supported to understand the emotions and feelings of themselves and others, respecting each other and we strongly believe and support all children in their own self-advocacy, having a voice and being heard.
Parent input into their child’s learning is vital and we strive to work closely with parents so children’s achievements can be something everyone Is a part of.
